"As she dove into the water, Lineya began to let her thoughts wander. All the stress from the day began to melt away as she torpedoed deeper into the ocean. It felt as if the ocean were her own, since the strong currents at the surface kept swimmers from journeying too far out. Suddenly, she saw a glimmer of yellow. As her mind jolted back to reality, she saw him. The new boy from her school. However, instead of human legs, he had a tail; a glimmering yellow tail with brown spots, much like a koi. Was it all a dream? Was the new boy, whom she had felt attracted to since she first saw him, really a merman?"

yeah but the background was very very rushed, as you could probably tell. soooooo i redid it. i think it looks much better now..

Aw, but that's what is so much fun about watery backgrounds! You can just put a lovely blue in the back and it's all good!

certainly i'll draw more lineya pics. she's my character and she's a mermaid. so i love drawing her. do you really like her? wow .. that makes me feel good.
